We at times can put our hope in a new job, a new relationship, or hope in a change of circumstances. Although those things are not bad, we must be careful to not solely put our hope in those things.

We must first and foremost put our hope in Jesus Christ. On our own we are hopeless… But with Christ, we have a hope for a future. You see Christ gave us hope when He died on the Cross for our sins. We now are free from the bondage of sin, and able to live a life surrendered to Jesus, knowing that He is a perfect Father who will take care of us.
