Daily Gratitude: Day 1
Ezra 3:11
With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord:
“He is good;
his love toward Israel endures forever.”
And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.
He is good!
With everything going on in this world it's hard at times to see the goodness of God. All we have to do is turn on the nightly news. There we see the hate, pain, destruction, greed, and the list goes on.
Where is this good God? we cry out!
Oh, He is there, and His hearts breaks for the darkness that has overcome so much of the world. One day He will set things right because of His goodness and righteousness.
Let us learn to sing praises to the Lord, even when our hearts are troubled. Even when our eyes are wet from the tears we’ve been crying. Let us sing praises to the Lord.
